Thank you for viewing my auction for the 1968 Chevy Camaro convertible.
This 68 Camaro Convertible is in very solid condition. It starts, stops, runs, and drives very well. Mechanically it has had a lot of quality work done. Here is the list:
Original 327 rebuilt professionally with less than 25,000 miles since done. Aluminum intake and new edlebrock carb as well. New header exhaust also done at that time.
A built turbo 350 was also installedwith aftermarket competition shifter. Disc brake conversion as well as new radiator. The drivetrain runs strong and is very peppy. It does have the original rear with stock highway gears.
Drives good on the road and has never been abused. It does need body restoration as well as new top. Interior is complete but also needs redone. The frame has no rust. The floors are solid with some minor rust holes. The trunk pan is also decent with some rust holes. It could be repaired or replaced.
This is a very solid 68 Camaro convertible that will be a fun and easy restore. It has not been molested or bastardized. It does not need much mechanically and you can see in the pictures that body, paint, and interior will be a straightforward project. These are not the easiest to find and whoever wins this auction will not be disappointed.
