1979 Chevrolet Corvette ~ 4 Speed ~ Matching Numbers Project Car <<NO RESERVE>>

1979 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:

1979 Corvette 350 cubic inch 195 horsepower NUMBERS MATCHING engine (ZAF suffix). 4 speed transmission.

This is a pretty low option car. It has C60 Air Conditioning(not working), D35 Sport Mirrors, N37 Tilt/Telescopic Steering Column, U58 AM-FM Stereo, U75 Power Antenna(not working), U81 Dual Rear Speakers & ZX2 Convenience Group.

What is does NOT have is quite odd. NO power windows OR locks, NO rear window defogger. It is Paint code 58 Corvette Dark Green 1 of 2426 cars, Trim code 492 Dark Green Leather 1 of 907 cars.

This car I was told sat in a heated garage for 15 years. It shows 33,000 miles on the odometer. I cannot confirm that. It does not appear to be 133,000.

The frame, birdcage and floor pans are solid, everything looks like it should, right down to the jack, spare tire, the keys work in all locks ETC.

It will still need some attention not limited to the A/C. The power steering does not work, (not looked into that yet), turn signal lever is missing, temp gauge, gas gauge & clock don't work (yet), the radiator has a small drip. Might be the lower hose. It needs paint and most likely other items I have not discovered as yet.

I installed all new brake lines, new plugs, Flushed the tank & lines out. It runs excellent. The previous owner installed the Edelbrock 2101 aluminum intake, but used the stock carb. Nice project car and a nice solid start to a C3.

If for some reason it does not sell, I will be parting it out. If you need parts, stay tuned. Car IS for sale locally and I may end this auction at any time.
