This is a highly desirable old school hot rod, painted hot rod flatz aqua and white. It is an Oregon High Desert, rust free, 1959 Chevrolet short bed, 3100 pickup with under 200 test miles since completion.
Under the hood sits a professionally build 355 cid Chevrolet small block, with a mild cam, 9 to 1 compression. Smooth shifting rebuilt th350 transmission. Drives and stops like a dream, with a 1979 Camaro front suspension, 4 link rear suspension, with a chevrolet 10 bolt rear end. 1955 Chevrolet car wheels with original style hubcaps and wide white walls.
Interior has been completely redone with a bench seat done in white tuck and roll, new carpet. Chrome tilt steering wheel and an Am-Fm radio. New glass. New door seals.
Exterior was completely painted in hot rod flatz aqua and white base coat-clear coat. The bumpers and headlight doors were powdercoated white--grill and emblems are original and in good condition. New door handles and mirror. Bed is finished with new oak and painted strips. It is tastefully custom pinstriped by Charlie Cook. This beauty is a real head turner and fun to drive. It took first place at its first car show, The Cruise to the Center of Oregon 7-9-1, and the trophy does come with the truck.
