1957 Chevrolet 3100 4x4 Shortbed Stepside Pickup
Has been sitting for some time. I purchased it to restore but cannot find the time. It was converted to 4 wheel drive at some time using a 1983 Chevy Heavy Half Pickup axles and engine / trans. Still sits on the original frame. The motor runs goo, clutch and trans work as they should. The brakes do not work. It still has the under floor single piston master cylinder that needs replacing. It has disc front and drum rear brakes and I have purchased a under floor power brake booster/master cyl that needs to be installed. The brakes are hooked up and were working before it sat idle for several years.. There is no seat. This truck runs and drives but the brakes need work.
The truck shows its age but is still a good looking truck worth restoration. The wood bed needs replacing. The original gas tank was removed and a toolbox / fuel tank mounted in the bed behind the cab.
Engine is a 350 4bbl with headers and aluminum intak, has disc front and drum rear brake, power steering with tilt whee, 4 speed truck transmissio, 4x4 works but front driveshaft is in the bed..
