1947 Chevrolet Other Pickups Additional Info:
1947 Chevy 5 window half ton truck with 1952 doors. If you are looking for a show truck, this is not it. It is a good daily driver kind of truck. Body and paint are not perfect. Has imperfections, scratches, dings, dents, etc. Cab corners and partial floor pans have been replaced. The body is mounted to a 99 Chevy s10 frame. The donor truck was running and driving before the swap, but still needs some maintenance work done. Brakes, one rear axle seal, and probably take a look at the front bushings and bearings. The engine and trans are out of a late 80s chevrolet truck. I was told there was less than 20k miles on the engine, but I have no paperwork, so assume its higher. No smoke or drips and the 700r4 trans shifts smooth like it should. The truck runs, drives, has lights, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, and holds the road nice. Bed is tubbed enough to fit 20 inch wheels. There are tons of new parts on this truck including the following:Front bumperfront bumper splash panGrilleMarker lightshood emblemswindshield wiper setup including 2spd electric wiper conversionnew glass and sealsdoor handles inner and outercustom door panels, headliner, kick panelssteering wheelworking Shark gaugessteering wheelwire harnessheadersrear roll panAmerican Racing Torque Thrust wheels and new Mastercraft tiresVintage Air AC unit, condenser, compressor, hose kit, and electric fanaluminum radiatorfan control unittransmission coolerdual exhaust with 2 mufflers
There are still a few small things that need to be done, but its pretty much some easy do it yourself work that can be done over a few weekends without missing a day of driving. I will stress again that the truck is not perfect. There are minor flaws in the paint and bodywork, but its a truck built to do truck stuff.
