Monte Carlo SS 1983 Super Sport

1983 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Additional Info:

This is a 1983 Monte Carlo Super Sport, first year for body style for SS model, only around 4000 made. This car is in good condition but had a bad paint job about 5 years ago, real good body but paint is peeling off top and some of trunk lid. When car was painted they installed a cowl hood that I didn't think matched a original car, so I replaced hood, I have owned car for about 9 years, accept for a year a friend of mine owned it. Top looks bad but it solid, just needs sanded.You could just paint hood, top, trunk lid if you wanted a driver. Interior is in good shape, dash is cracked, radio doesn't work and windshield wipers is hook up on a switch. Does have rare electric drivers seat. a/c has always worked, may need pressureswitched adjustedCar has the original engine that runs good, smokes sometimes when starting up- valve seals these cars are bad about that, but doesn't affect the running part. Trans. has been changed to a overdrive 200R, I have the 350 turbo to put back in car if you want to. Frame is good shape no rust and no rust in floor boards or trunk. Car has 74080 original miles and I have the build sheet for car. With a little work this would make a nice and rare car.
