1978 Chevrolet El Camino Additional Info:
We have a very clean, nearly rust free awesome El Camino. There is a small rust bubble on the hood we discovered when we rinsed the car after pulling it out of our shop. We think this is a conquista.
We planned on painting and changing the carb out, but it's not happening. Heath reasons. It runs and drives once warmed up. But we think it needs a new carburetor. We started it the other day to take it out of the shop. Started up fine after pumping the carb and attempting to start 3 times. We have not started it in over 5 months so thats pretty good. It will always start. Was a little ruff at first. Just kept the gas pedal on to push the fuel through until it was happy. We are including the carb we bought to put on it in this sale. Pictures show what it is. These car/trucks are climbing in value. This car is strong in it's potential. This was yet another toy we are letting go to someone who wants to make it there own with a little work. Look at the pictures, they speak for themselves. We got this car from a man who had it stored in a apartment garage for 6 or 7 years. It was his fathers. The interior had been changed to a Malibu interior. There is plugs under the seats, not sure what for. The engine is not original from what he told us. The only thing we did when we got it back in April of 2015 is change the spark plugs, oil, oil filter. Put a new battery in it. All the lights, turn signals, heater, windshield wipers and radio work. Tires are like new with the nubs still on them. There is a stain of some sort on the passenger seat. Look at pic. It was there when we got it. We have the chrome trim also. Has some dings in some and are dirty. We have center caps forgot to picture that will go with the car.
The title is clear in our names and the registration is good until Sept 30 2016. We keep it in the garage most of its life with us. Outside for a few months here and there. We just pulled it out and is ready for someone to enjoy as there new project.Ask any and all questions before bidding, will answer the best we can.
The shipping or picking up of the car is the buyers responsibility. Sold as is, no refunds or returns. Must be paid within the time frame listed and picked up within reason, 10 days from auction end is reasonable we feel. We will work with you with pick up time frame as long as you paid for the car within the time frame required in the ad. But must communicate with us before bidding ends to discuss. We feel that is fair. Our reserve is low, please don't ask as this keeps it fair for any interested. Will ad details if we can think of anything we missed.. Thank you and Happy Bidding!

Forgot to mention this car has air shocks in the rear. So you can raise or lower the rear to your desired stance, by adding air from an air compressor.
