Selling a fast and very clean 76' Corvette coupe. This is a unique year since it was the last year of the C3 Stingray model. This car has been in my family since new. Just over 80k original miles. It has the factory matching numbers engine that was rebuilt recently. The car is very reliable and can be driven anywhere today. Starts right up on first key turn no matter how long it's been sitting for. Excellent daily driver or weekend warrior. This Vette is an absolute blast to drive and turns heads everywhere. I have a clean California title in hand, registered to my name with current tags and a fresh CA emissions test done a few days ago that it passed with flying colors (necessary for CA buyers).
This car came equipped from factory with black leather interior (#192) and blue exterior. As you probably already know Chevrolet didn't produce any black exterior corvettes from 1970-76. This one was painted last year and looks stunning in tuxedo black. The body is in excellent shape and it has never been in an accident. Absolutely ZERO rust on frame and birdcage. This is a true virgin-body California Corvette. The interior is all original to the car aside from the aftermarket stereo and shift knob. All the electrical is in excellent shape including lights, wipers, gauges, power windows, etc.. Just replaced window motors and vacuum pump for headlights. The A/C system is the only thing that needs to be serviced at the moment. Air blows cool right now so the compressor is probably due for a recharge to blow ICE-cold again.
Original 350 engine was rebuilt in 2013 and has less than 10k miles since the rebuild. It had a few upgrades done to it like an aluminum Edelbrock EPS intake, new Edelbrock carb, and an oversized aluminum radiator to keep this beast running cool in any weather. The power steering rack was just replaced afew weeksago, new brakes with powder-coated calipers, and new suspension (shocks, bushings, ball joints). The car drives and handles excellent at any speed. I cancruise in this thing at 100mph with confidence. Accelerates fast, shifts gears smoothly, and stops on a dime! No squeaks or rattles behind the wheel of this beauty. Doesn't leak a drop of oil either. It's sitting on a pretty rare set of wheels made by Shelby Motors for GM in the early 80's I believe. Brand new BF Goodrich tires with less than 100 miles on them. Remove the T-tops and you have the perfect cruiser just in time for summer.
The car comes with an original owner's manual, sales brochure, factory shop repair manual, and a few service invoices from over the years. It's available for inspection by any serious bidder during the course of this auction, just message me with your phone number and I will call you to set up an appointment. As all other classic cars it is being sold in AS IS condition. Please ask questions if you are unsure of anything prior to bidding. This is a NO RESERVE listing and the car will go to the highest bidder no matter what. I can assist out-of-state and overseas buyers with the shipping process. View my feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks for viewing my listing.
