1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS Additional Info:
1969 Camaro, original RS and LM1 engine. For those in the know the lm1 was only produced at the beginning of the model year. It basically had many SS options without raising the eye of the insurance companies.
Body: Body was restored some time ago and is starting to show its age. Quarters were replaced when resto was done and used full quarters. Doors are starting to bubble at the corners and the passenger fender is bubbling too. Trunk is original andlooks like it has some scale but looks to be in good shape with no holes. Floors are original and rust free, passenger side had the typical heater core leak but was replaced professionally and looks fantastic. I replaced the core support with a new one, looks like the battery exploded when the car sat(as they all do) because the drivers side had no corrosion but the passenger side was toast, I think this caused the bubbling in the fender from the acid sitting on the ledge on the inner fender. Car is basically a 5 footer but I drive it everywhere and still get nonstop compliments on it. Rear tail panel is original and has the factory cutouts for the back up lights.
Drivetrain: As stated engine is the original LM1 that it was born with. Rearend is a 10 bolt posi and transmission shifts as it should. Transmission pan needs a new gasketbut otherwise the car runs great. I drive it everywhere and it has never overheated or given me any problems, even in the Texas sun. I put a new powersteering pump on it. New forward light harness installed.
Interior: Interior looks really nice. Rear seat is original and has a seam tearing on the back rest. Front seats were recovered at some point and are in great shape. I put new carpet and dynamat down on the floor. I also added a new dash pad(the good one that cost $400.00). Console gauges all work and are Stewart Warner Green Line gauges. Radio is a newer Sony that has CD and IPOD capabilities. All lights, turnsignals, horn work as they should. Vintage Air that blows nice and cold(original inner and outer a/c boxes come with the purchase).
RS: RS components are all there. The system holds vacuum but only one of the covers opens. I think I may have the other two hoses reversed, haven't felt like pulling the actuator covers off to look at it. It will work with a little line chasing. Hole and grommet are original where the hoses go into the interior.
All in all this is a good car that you could paint or just drive it around like it is. It has good bones and a great original color combo. Thanks for looking, feel free to ask any questions.

Just to answer a few of the same questions I'm getting.Car has disc brakes in the front.Numbers on engine pad that are hard to see read T1113HS, the HS means 350, 255hp, th350 tranny.Car has no mechanical issues other than the tranny pan gasket needing replaced. I would not be afraid to drive this car across the US. I've only said that about 4 or 5 of the classic cars I've owned.
