1950 Chevrolet Other Pickups Additional Info:
If this 1950 Chevy truck could talk, it would definitely have a story to tell and would sound like a genuine. native Texan. This mostly stock 5 window short bed has spent the majority of it's years roaming the back roads of Texas. The straight and rust free body still shows it's appealing shape and would make an excellent candidate for an easy restoration or hot rod conversion. The 235 cubic inch inline 6 cylinder runs strong thanks to the meticulous maintenance it's received over 66 years. Making this truck even more fun to drive is a close ratio 4 speed transmission with a "Granny Gear" 1st. The posi-traction rear end helps to get it moving up to speed quickly too. Look closely at the pictures and you'll notice the factory AM radio is still there in the dash. Rolling down the windows creates a sensation much like air conditioning if the weather isn't too hot. There are many new parts included such as: All new glass, 5 new Coker tires ($1,500) new weatherstripping and other misc. body parts. The complete brake system was recently gone though along with a full tune up and carb rebuild. She fires right up and could be driven anywhere.
These Chevrolet C3100 trucks are extremely popular today for retrofitting onto late model Camaro frames. Imagine having the corner carving handling and braking of a Camaro with the performance of a turbocharged LSX small block or a blown big block underneath this beautiful truck! Make it happen, Make an offer and Make it YOURS!
