1978 Chevy C10 Step Side Short Bed Truck

1978 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:

This 1978 C-10 Stepside has not been on the road much for a couple of years, but has been driven some the past few months. This truck was previously titled in Hollywood, Ca. It's previous owner (our son) used it as a daily driver. It was always kept in a garage. This is a base truck without air conditioning, power brakes or power steering. The steering is actually very light and tight, parking lock to lock is no problem. This truck has good bones and may possibly have collector appeal It starts quickly and the transmission shifts smoothly. Being a Southern California vehicle, it has very little rust. The paint in the bed is in good condition.
These old trucks are very popular, and I always get lots of looks and smiles and smiles where ever I go. Please keep in mind this one needs some restoration and I have listed points of interest below.
It has a 350 V8 with an Edlebrock 4 barrel.
It has American Racing wheels
It has a new alternator, battery and ignition switch.
It has recently had wiring work repair done in the tailight area.
All headlights, turn signals and brake lights work.
Indicator lights on the dash are out.
It needs an exhaust gasket on the passenger side of the engine.
It needs a tune up and oil change.
Seat cover has a tear (see photo).
There is a small crack at the base of the windshied at the base.
The paint is in good shape, with some polish it would be look great.
It has a Kenwood CD with a larger speaker mounted on the floor behind the driver.
The sound system really rocks, plenty of clean loud music on tap.
