1966 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Additional Info:

Beautiful 1966 Chevrolet Bel Air 4-door sedan. 327 motor, 4 bbl carburetor, 2-speed automatic transmission. This car is very original, all drivetrain numbers are original. It has been repainted and the interior refurbished before I bought it.

I bought this car a couple of years ago mostly as shown. It came from the dry high plains of Idaho. I bought it because I fell in love with the color combination, and I could not believe how original and rust free it is. This car has not been abused or modified. If you're looking for a nice older car, this is definitely it. The car has manual brakes and steering, as befits the mid-line Bel Air. I was shocked when Itook delivery ofthe car to find that absolutely everything works properly. All gauges, wipers, electrical; everything works perfectly (edit: the stock AM radio works poorly).

Although it is in excellent condition, I have done some work to it. I replaced a broken drivers-side motor mount. I replaced the brake shoes and drums as it needed. I replaced the balky carburetor with a stock-style Holley with electric choke for trouble-free operation (the original carb comes with it so no loss there).I have added a spare tire and later model scissor-jack.

This car is for the person that appreciates a really nice example of a vintage car. It is absolutely 100% rust-free, unmodified, and everything works. It is definitely the nicest car I have ever owned. It's a great way to get into a vintage car with no headaches and at a reasonable price. You will literally be able to drive this car across the country from minute one without any work. I bought it as a 4-door on purpose because it is so much easier to use than a 2-door.

I am selling this car because I do not have time to enjoy it as much as I would like. If this car does not meet reserve I will be fine with keeping it.
