1960 Chevy Custom Cab Stepside updated with 1964 hood and grill. This seemed to be a popular swap at one time. Some considered the original '60-61 style "ugly". an early 70's vintage 4 bolt main 350 backed with a Turbo Hydro 400 transmission. It also has an HEI distributor and an internal regulator style alternator. It still has the original 3:90 rear end, which makes it more of an around towner than a freeway driver. Other upgrades include: 1980 C10 Power steering box with a '68 GTO column shift steering column 1980 C10 Power brake booster with a tandem master cylinder and stock drum brakes It features a nice (not flawless) driver quality paint job done a few years ago in 1977 Chevy brown metallic paint. It's not by any means show quality, but it looks good for an old truck. There has been some minor rust repair to the floor, but the work looks like it was done neatly. There are some scratches and a little very light pitting on the chrome bumpers. The interior still looks nice, but is fairly plain and not too flashy. There is a AM/FM stereo and heater. All the dash lights and gauges are in working order. There are some chips and imperfections on the dash paint, but overall it looks good. This is a very basic and simple truck, and it would make a nice daily driver, shop truck, or swap meet runner. Drive it as-is, or use it as a starting point for your own ideas.
