1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe Additional Info:
You are bidding on a 1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe with the LS5 package. This is a Bill Of Sale car, Alabama doesn't keep titles for cars this old, so you will only get a Bill of Sale with the car. This Corvette is mostly original but unfortunately it does NOT come with the original 454 engine, the original engine was replaced with a 350 engine. It does not appear that the gas tank has ever been removed so the original build sheet is probably still on top of the gas tank. The original color of the car was Blue, but a previous owner painted it white. It is not that great of a paint job, looks decent from 20 feet away or going down the road, but it needs some love. I bought this car several months ago because I planned on doing a full restoration of the vehicle, but plans have changed and I really don't have the time. This is the perfect project car because you can actually drive it on day 1 and fix it up a little at a time. Or do a complete restoration on the car, it is an LS5, which is a pretty rare setup. The car is very solid, straight and it looks decent as well. This car is over 40 years old, so don't expect a new car, it needs plenty of attention, mostly cosmetic fiberglass work, but this would make a great restoration car. I've tried to take pictures of the underneath and the wheel wells to give you an idea of the condition of the car. I would encourage and welcome you to come see the car in person before you bid. If you can't see it in person, please ask as many questions as you would like to get an idea of the condition of the car. I'll do my best to represent the car as accurately as possible.
Performance wise, the car starts right up, drives straight and the power steering works great. The brakes are not that great but they do work. I installed a new master cylinder, but I'm assuming that the calipers will need to be replaced or the lines will need to be bled. The 400 turbo transmission shifts out nice as well. There is slight clunk when letting off the gas really fast, I've read that it is a rubber gasket that goes on the drive train, or something to that affect. The site made it seem like it wasn't a big deal, but I never looked into it.
Here are list of items and whether they are working or not:

This is the last year of the front and rear chrome bumpers! It is also the last year of the removable rear glass. That combined with the LS5 package makes this a pretty unique car!

The spots on the driveway in the pictures are from WATER from washing the car prior to taking the pictures. Please watch the video that I attached the following day, you will notice that the spots are gone. I will add, that I have noticed a few small oil drops on my garage floor from the oil pan gasket, but certainly nothing major. Keep the questions coming!!!
