Up for sale we have a 1956 Chevy 210 Four Door. This is what we would call a nice survivor car that retains the stock look. We were told that most of the paint is what come on it. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the 210. The body is solid with good fit of the panels. When you look at the side trim it all fits well and is in great shape. The glass is good as well as the stainless around it. As for the bumpers they appear to have been replaced at some time. The grill in this Chevy is very nice and all the lights work as does the wipers. When you look at the paint it's done in the Black and White combo. It looks good for a 50 year old car, but keep in mind this is a survivor car. The factory rims are on the corners with full size hub caps and white wall tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of the '56. On the inside it's all stock. It's also done in the Black and white Color combo. The seats are correct and appear to have had covers changed at some point along with the carpet. The door panels and headliner look good but do appear to be factory. As far as we can tell everything works in the dash from the heater to the dome light.
Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it has a 265 V8 with the two barrel carb and power glide trans. It looks as it would have in '56 with the stock valve covers, intake, and breather. It retains the stock manifolds and stock style exhaust. The brakes are 4 wheel drum with standard steering. When you look under this '56 the floors look very good for its age with nothing done to them besides a good cleaning.
