1969 Corvette Restoration Project

1969 Chevrolet Corvette Convertable Additional Info:

This a number matching car. It has the 427 390 hp motor with the 4 speed transmission.I bought the car 17 years ago and drove it for couple of years and then decided to do a full body off restoration.The car was disassembled by myself and the body was put on a dolly. The frame was blasted and painted correct chasis black. The engine, transmission, and rear end were rebuilt. Also the trailing arms and half shaftes. It has a new tank, brakes and brakelines, and shocks. The frame is almost complete and ready fro the body. The body has been media blasted. This revealed the car was hit on the driver side. The fender could be repaired but I have bought a new fender which is still in th box. I have all the original parts plus many new parts. I have a new wiring harness and a rebuilt steering column. Its a great project that I don't have time for. My plan was to restore the car with all the correct parts to bring it back to original conditions but with a modern carb and ignition to make it a driver so I can enjoy the car and not sit in garage or trailer. Also the odometer shows around 74,000 miles.
