1989 Chevrolet Blazer LT Additional Info:

1989 Chevrolet Blazer, 4 Wheel Drive original survivor with no rust and no modifications, Never lifted or offroaded much was used mainly for commuting 4 miles to work and back and pulling a small tent trailer camping. This is all original with slightly oversized BFG all terrain tires in good shape. Truck was parked and put on non op status when my uncle quit using it a few years ago. It has the 5.7 with throttle body injection with the 700 R4 overdrive transmission that was rebuilt a few years back still works real well. As I said truck was parked a few years ago it was running and driving good at that time it did start to smoke on startup mecanic said valve guides were worn. I put a battery in it and added 5 gallons of gas to tank and it started up fine and seems to run smooth and transmission works good also 4 wheel drive engages and works well, again this truck was rarely even put into 4 wheel drive. I must say that smoking from engine is still there and seems to be worse, It could just be valve guides but may be rings, I only drove truck a few miles and it still smokes.So with that in mind what we have here is a good rust free restoration project that runs and drives and all factory options are intact and as they were from factory, Truck needs love and attention but it is a solid truck with tons of potential. No buy it now price truck will sell to high bidder
