1968 Corvette Convertible with Hardtop. Mild Custom

35,915 Original Miles! Original paint code is 986 Silvertone Silver- Standard Trim

35 years in a heated garage! This is a Friends car that he bought in 1984 and has been indoors until now.

283c.i.d. from a 1959 Corvette its :60 over Crane heads--Crane Roller Rockers--Comp Cam. Aluminum Intake- Dual point Dist. A mild build motor for the street with maybe a mile on it! With gas and a battery car will run motor is free with no known issues. Power Steering--Power 4 wheel disk brakes. Good frame and bird cage, still has the original convertible top with good frame. 3 speed Turbo Auto Trans. Tilt wheel from a early 70s Vette. Its also a true air car he has the original compressor as well. (nothing is hooked up)

This car was stripped to bare glass and painted in 1979 -- Porsche Guards Red and the Ecklers Z-L1 fender flairs were added then...not a hack job!!! They are straight and strong-you pick the car up while holding the flairs! He also has the original 68 doors that go with the car, the doors on the car are from a 69 he liked the handles better. This is true 70s custom Vette that needs little work to drive I would repaint the car only being the lacquer paint is showing its age. LOOK AT THE PHOTOS! In the last 4 years he added all new Calipers-master cylinder-brake hoses and Silicone brake fluid...

So all that being said its a true time capsule. sitting in his garage since 1984-32 years plus 3 years in the body shop prior to that.
