You are looking at a 1977 K10 Blazer frame off rotisserie Restomod. What exactly does that mean?

Restomod (restoration + modern parts/technology) draws from all the amazing advancements in automobile technology over the past 40+ years to enhance the performance, comfort and safety of the classic car. A restomod car has the timeless appearance of the original, but the outdated guts of the car have been replaced with the more modern, high-performance parts of today. You achieve the same great look, but your vintage car will be revved up with all the latest bells and whistles to create a much better ride for the owner.

Rotisserie means it was stripped down to the frame, all the steel was media (sand) blasted to bare metal and over 4 years every nut, bolt, bearing and component was rebuilt or replaced. It's a TRUE restoration!

This Blazer was produced in Flint, Michigan in 1977. It was originally equipped with a V8 350 and full time four wheel drive. I purchased it from a dealer in Denver, CO in August of 2014. When I got it I found registration papers from California dating back to 1976 from the same owner. I and am assuming it spent its entire life in California with one owner prior to me.

Here's how the Blazer was built...

· When I purchased the truck there was 6,000 miles since the build was complete.

· The transmission was rebuilt only 1,100 miles before I took possession.

· Since I've owned it I put on about 4,000 miles.

· So, assume there's been 10,000 miles on the body and motor and about 5,000 miles on the transmission.

This is, essentially, a new 1977 K10 Blazer. Over $40,000 was invested into the restoration (not including the cost of the truck!)...

Exterior:

· There is no rust on the body or frame. None. It sits in my heated garage in the winter. I only drive it when the weather is warm and sunny. The body was media (sand) blasted on BOTH sides. That's right, the body panels are painted on the inside and out. The paint is Imron black with some red pearl in it. The red only shows when the sun is shining.I would rate the paint an 8.5 out of 10. There are some minor scratches and dings here and there but nothing major ornoticeablewithout lookinghard (see the video link below for specifics).

· The hard top has been restored also. It's in my garage. I've added a soft top from Softtopper that you can see in the pictures. It goes up in about 10 minutes and about 5 to take it down. It seals up very nice if you run into rain or cold temps.

· All the emblems were removed in the restoration. The only emblem is the 454 SS on the tailgate.

· All the glass is perfect. No scratches, dings or cracks. The windows roll and up down perfectly. The tailgate window is manual and the crank works like it did from the factory. The glass in the hardtop is tinted and not operable.

· All the door, tailgate and top seals are new.

· New 33" tires on aluminum Keystone rims

· All lights and trailer wiring work

Drivetrain:

-Motor (yes this thing will snap your head back! It consistently gets 2nd gear scratch and the rear axle has anti-hop shocks to keep traction at the tires)

· A 7.4L GM 454 Big Block was installed to replace the small block 350.
· The motor is a 4 bolt main. The heads are from a 396 and have early ported closed chamber heads (oval shape) which make great compression and power
· Edelbrock intake with 750Holleystreet avenger double pumper carb with electric high/low idel
· Holley fuel pump
· Steel braided hoses throughout
· A/C converted to R134. Blows cold!
· Modine 4 core radiator. Temp does not get about 200 no matter what how hot outside!
· Competition cam valve train
· Lunati cam shaft
· 2.5" Flowmaster exhaust with aluminum coated headers (sounds incredible!)
· MSD Ignition with high temp spark plug wires
· Moroso 8 quart oil pan with high performance oil pump (idles at 40+ lbs of pressure)
· High torque mini starter
· Chrome valve covers, oil pan, flywheel shield
· The inner fenders, firewall and underside of the hood are painted gloss black

-Transmission

· Turbo 350 rebuilt about 5,000 miles ago with a shift kit and auxiliary cooler
· Chrome pan cover

-Transfer Case

· Rebuilt NP 203 with conversion kit (full time to part time)

· 4 wheel drive works as it should in low and high

· Front and rear drive shafts balanced and chrome plated

-Axles

· GM corporate 10 bolt front and rear (I think ratio is 3:73 but have not confirmed)

· Warn premium lock out hubs. I recently went through both of them and they work as they should

· Chrome covers

· Backs of disc and drum brakes are chrome

· Power brakes with new booster. Brakes were all redone with the build.

· Bothaxles, bearingsand front ball joints arerebuilt

· Front sway bar (chrome)

· Dual Rancho steering stabilizers

-Suspension

· Soft Ride Four inch lift kit (springs front and custom blocks rear). This is by FAR the best lifted leaf spring ride I've driven!

· All new bushings/shackles for springs and body mounts

· Full Rancho suspension with 3 shocks per tire

· Anti-hop shocks on rear leaf springs

· ChromeAxletrusses front and rear

-Interior

· All custom interior including new seats and carpet

· Custom dash pad, door/rear side panels and headliner

· The interior was painted black

· Four point seat harness at front bucket and rear bench seats

· Autometer oil, amp and temp gauges custom fit into existing dash bezel. All gauges work perfectly including high beam, hazard and 4 wheel lock indicators

· Heat and AC work great

· Older Pioneer stereo with 4- 6X9's and an amp (located under the driver seat)

· Full family roll cage that fits under both the soft and hard tops

· Hidden anti-theft kill switch

This is a 2rd generation K10 Blazer. The last year of the K5 was 1972. K10's (1/2 ton running gear) were built between 1973 - 1991 and the first year of the half cab was 1976. I also have a 1st generation 1972 K5 I'll be selling soon. I do like having the partial cab so you can get out of the wind if the temp cools down. Also keeps you from baking in the sun but still get the full convertible effect.
