1948 Chevrolet Other Additional Info:
Bought two years ago as "Project Car" to restore to original, but wound up moving out of state before I got much done. A couple of add on notes; as mentioned the engine was running fine, but previous owner had split the manifold & installed straight pipes, so there was no quite 6 cylinder purr. Also, the rear end had been dropped. Other then that, I believe the car could be brought back to original without a lot of major repairs. I have several thousand dollars more invested than my rock bottom listing price of $5,000 (or best offer) but absolutely have to sell it. It is currently stored on my daughter's property, in Jamul, CA., a rural area several miles east of San Diego. In order to pick up & haul away arrangements need to be made for someone to be on site because of fencing & dogs. Bring a cashiers check for sale price & I can arrange to have pink slip & bill of sale on hand. Registration is clean, for CA., & listed as "non-operable."
