1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Additional Info:
1957 Chevrolet 150 4 door sedan. Runs and drives around the yard. Brakes have been gone through, all 5 original 57 wheels and been beadblasted, painted the original Surf Green and 5 new tires installed. There is no fuel tank and it is currently running off a can. There is no battery but if you show up and talk to me nice I might let you have the one I have in it right now but then I would just have to go buy a new one for my tractor. At this time it just has the header pipe for exhaust from the manifold down to where the muffler would be. I do have a complete used exhaust in good condition that can go with it. All glass is good except for the windshield which has a very long crack. Side door glass has had new fuzzies installed. Somewhere along the line it acquired a 57 Bel Air front seat. The rear seat is original to the car and has a seat cover on it. The four interior door panels are included, two of them are kind of rough along the bottom. The body has some rust in the trunk pan but along the sides of the trunk/wheel well area it looks great. All the underbody supports/inner rockers are solid as you can see in the pictures. Rockers look good, lower front fender area looks good, Inside rear door dogleg area looks good. One rear floor pan has a major hole in it and the other rear floor pan has some minor rust. I do have a solid parts car floor pan you can have if you want. One rear door has some rust in the corner as you can see in the pictures. Car starts and runs good. There is no air cleaner. Both the windshield and the rear glass are just sitting in place and there is no rubber channel. I do have all the stainless trim for them. Clear matching up to date title. Shouldn't take a whole lot to make this a fun driver. To summarize: Needs front and rear glass rubber channels Needs fuel tank Needs windshield Needs air cleaner The good: Clear title and VIN spot welded on like it should be Relatively solid car especially in the hard to work on places like underbody supports and inner rockers New brakes New tires A fun project you could drive while you tinker with it The bad: Has some rust in the trunk pan and rear floor pans Needs a windshield I would encourage anybody that is interested in it to stop by and take a look. If you are too far away to do that I will say that I have sold several 55 and 57 Chevys here on Ebay through the years and everybody has always been happy with how I represented it in the listing. I have been into 57 Chevys since the late 1970's and think I pretty well know them in and out and what to look for. I would be happy to talk on the phone about it too. Just e-mail me your phone number and a good time to call. Must be paid in full within 14 days, must be picked up within 30 days. No exceptions. This car is for sale locally and this listing may end at any time. I do have several other 55 - 57 parts and project cars.
