1966 Chevy C-10 “Custom Cab” Series Pickup for Sale! Truck is celebrating its 60th year in 2026!
This is a running project truck. We drive it for short distances several times a year. Currently leaks transmission fluid. Truck will need to be transported with a trailer. It would be a great fix up project and needs some TLC. Please see pictures for condition of body and truck bed. Vehicle is located in Pikes Peak area of Colorado.

Some of the highlights:
- The highly desirable Fleet Side model with the large rear window and 8-foot-long bed. Bed still retains the original wood. Comes with a spare tire and the rim that shows the original “Omaha Orange” color very well.
- 89K miles on a 60-year-old truck! Engine was professionally rebuilt in September 1990. I believe the engine is the 327 cubic-inch V8 and has eight spark plugs, with four on each side. It has an automatic transmission. Has a Ford air conditioner that was added in the 1970s.
- Three owners! My family has had it for over 54 years. Truck was in Oklahoma for approximately 4 years. Truck was in dry Mojave Desert of California for 34 years and in Colorado since 2004.
- Manufactured at the St. Louis, MO plant. Originally sold by Neil Norton Motors 428 North Main Street Miami, Oklahoma. The truck was delivered to the dealer on 5-24-66.
- Original Owner’s Manual and Owner Protection Plan (warranty) documents come with it. The Owner Protection Plan document shows the original dealer and first owner’s information. Also comes with an old California vehicle registration document showing the second owners’ information. Also includes an exact metal replica toy version with the same paint job (see pictures).
