1991 Chevrolet Astro CL

Offered for sale is my 1991 Chevrolet Astro CL short-wheelbase passenger van, finished in Fieldstone Gray Metallic and Astral Silver two-tone over a Red Garnet interior.

This is the first-generation “shortie,” not the more common extended-body Astro. It is rear-wheel drive and retains its original 4.3-liter V6 and automatic transmission.

The van spent much of its life in Texas and remains rust-free. I have owned it since 2020 and have worked through its mechanical needs during my ownership, making it a sorted and enjoyable example rather than a neglected project.

The Fieldstone Gray Metallic and Astral Silver exterior presents well, and the complete three-row Red Garnet interior is remarkably well preserved for its age. This is not a freshly restored show vehicle, so normal cosmetic imperfections and minor interior wear should be expected. Please review the photographs carefully.

MILEAGE DISCLOSURE

The correct mileage is 144,841. The factory five-digit odometer displays 44,841 miles after rolling over once and is currently inoperative. The speedometer continues to work normally. The maintenance history and available records are included with the sale.

I have enjoyed owning and improving this Astro since 2020. I am selling it only because I am moving to a larger van for use as a motorcycle and scooter hauler. I would like to see it go to someone who appreciates the increasingly uncommon first-generation short-wheelbase configuration.

The van is located in Erie, Pennsylvania. In-person inspections are welcome before purchase, and additional photographs, service information or a driving video can be provided to serious buyers.

Buyer is responsible for pickup or transportation. A $500 deposit is due through eBay within 24 hours of purchase. The remaining balance is due within seven calendar days by cash in person or verified bank wire. The vehicle and title will be released only after all funds have cleared.
