Additional Info:

1973 Chevy Luv for sale. I purchased the Luv out of California with the intent to make it a drift truck. Look up the few Luv's for sale as they have taken off in value. This particular Luv was put on a late 70's-early 80's Chevy passenger car frame. The frame, brakes, rearend and suspension are all original to the frame. The engine starts right up (see video) and idles well. It sounds like it has an aftermarket cam in it at the very least. The interior is pretty rough (see pictures). It has two nice seats that are in good shape. The interior has a full roll cage minus the door bars. The original gauges were taken out of the dash and now there is an oil pressure gauge, water temp gauge, gas gauge and a column mounted tachometer. The Luv has dual exhaust that exits through the rear valance panel. Has a good, healthy lope to it.
The body kit on this Luv is one I have never seen before (I have owned pro-street Luv's all my life). The body kit includes a flip front end that makes working on the engine very easy. There are two hydraulic rams that were installed and plumbed with braided hoses with the intent to make the front end lift hydraulically. The rams seized up during the cold winter up here so I had to unbolt the lower mount so I could manually lift the hood (I do believe the rams will work with some TLC). The body kit needs an extreme amount of body work as you can see in the pictures. The passenger door has shaved door handle and keyhole. The driver's door has a shaved handle but does have the keyhole. The glass in the truck is good. The front grille and headlights were swapped out for a tubular steel grille and what appear to be Subaru headlights. There is no tailgate. The previous owner built a wood kit in the bed. The battery is in the bed on the passenger side. The gas tank and gas tank filler are also in the bed and easily accessible. The Luv has been primed throughout. Whomever did that also put some cool three tone grey wavy stripes on the sides and also did a very nice job stencil/pinstriping.
This is a one-of-a-kind Chevy Luv and you will never see another like it. Just try to envision how this Luv will look when it is completed as a pro-street or a drift truck. Inspections are welcome. The Luv will drive onto a trailer, and I can help load if needed. I would not try to drive the Luv home as I have only put a few miles on it and do not know how it will react. Absolutely no trades of any kind. A $500 deposit will be due within 24 hours of auction closing. The remainder will be due upon pickup or earlier. The deposit can be paid through the E-Bay pay system but the remainder will need to be cash or certified check. I cannot store the Luv for any amount of time so it will need to be picked up within one week of auction close unless prior arrangements are made. If you have less than 5 E-Bay feedback, I will cancel your bid unless you contact me first (please use the E-Bay messaging system). I have 100% positive feedback so bid with confidence.
If you do not have the cash available to purchase my Luv, please do not bid. I have a clear California title in my possession.
