Runs and drives excellent, this is truly a buy and drive anywhere you need to go type of vehicle. 454 Big Block with 4 barrel carburetor. TH400 Automatic transmission.
This truck is showing just over 63,000 actual miles on the odometer. Sold new in California it was purchased and relocated to Iowa just a few years ago. It retains the original GVWR and origin stickers inside the driver's door, as well as original RPO sticker on the driver's side inner fender.
Sheet metal is all original GM metal, rockers and cab corners, as well as entire underside are exceptional and free of rust of any significance. There is a quarter size rust spot above passenger side door handle. There is an area on the hood that paint has come off and surface rust has formed. There is a dent in the passenger box side, as well as some assorted small dents and dings in other areas on the body.
I have since I purchased, serviced all fluids, new spark plugs, wires, distributor, and alternator. Installed new shocks as well as new tires with new correct wheels and hubcaps. Re-covered the seat with correct tan upholstery, and replaced the dash pad with correct new pad, as well as trim and vents. New door pulls were installed, but the original panels are in nice condition as is the original carpet.
It has a modern aftermarket 1 DIN stereo with bluetooth which is properly installed, and I have added 6x9 speakers in the cab corners in special panels, as well as 6.5" component speakers in the kick panels, and new 3.5" speakers in the dash.The doors close crisp and tight.Power windows and locks work as they should.Tilt column is tight and works as it should.All lights and signals work as they should.AC and heat work as they should.BOTH gas tanks work, and switch side to side as they should.Gauges all work and are accurate.Horn works.Cruise control does NOT work but is present.Power steering and power brakes are equipped and work excellent.Steering and suspension are tight and trouble free, drives very straight and nice.Engine starts and runs well, choke works, does not burn oil or smoke.Engine does not leak, there is a transmission leak of some sort that leaves a spot.
This truck does have dual exhaust installed and does NOT have catalytic converters. Please take that into account for your area as different states have different inspection and emissions rules. You may need to add catalytic converters back on in some areas.
