The C10 from Chevrolet is an icon of American trucks. "As American as apple pie". Simple, reliable, and good looking, it has become one of the most collectible trucks from the last century. The body style evolved into Suburbans and Blazers, but the originalshort bed pickup like this one is the one everybody wants.
This is a wonderful example of the first year "square body" from 1973. It has rare and desirable factory options and they are detailed on the build sticker shown in the photos. It came with (and still retains) a 4 barrel 350ci engine, power brakes, power steering and a turbo hydramatic 350 automatic transmission. It also included the gauge package instead of "dummy lights". It also includes a front sway bar and heavy duty springs.
Although there is minor surface rust it is not pitted at all and there is absolutely zero rust through (nor anything close) on the entire truck. The body is razor straight and the remaining white paint is all original. It has never been hit, rusted, painted or repaired in any way.
The interior is all original slate blue and need to be done. The steering wheel is excellent.
The engine isstrong and runs on an iv of fuel. There is no smoke or leaks. It needs brakes, so will not drive.
This is an extremely desirable C10 short bed with rare factory options. With the clean body and good engine, you have here a greatopportunity for an originalrestoration/resto mod or fix the interior/brakes and drive it as-is in its patina'd state! It'sa PERFECT starting point and these are rarely found in this condition.
