1982 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:

Did Chevy really make a four-door pick-up in the 80s?
YES! Very rare and unique, lovingly restored 1982 Chevy C20 "3+3" Club Cab with a 1993 Cummins Diesel Swap.
Featured is a beautiful, 1982 Chevy Club Cab SURVIVOR. A "survivor" mainly because the original owner ordered it new, babied it, and kept it for his last 37 years. This beauty spent most of her life in Oklahoma and Idaho and then immigrated to Michigan in 2021 on a fiancée visa. She features an EMP-proof, computer chip-free, fully mechanical 1993 5.9 6-cylinder Cummins diesel. Engine was professionally installed by previous owner and performs beautifully.
The powerplant is a 5.9L remanufactured 6BT-A unit which came directly from Cummins, Inc. with Holset turbo and all fuel injection parts. This particular engine is considered one of the absolute best that Cummins manufactured and is known as a "million-mile" engine. It is an early variation of the 12-valve engine featuring the VE-44 rotary injection pump. The original TH400 trans was rebuilt at the time of the install. A shift kit was installed to increase line pressure, and an Allison torque converter was also added at this time. This is one of the most well-executed engine swaps you will ever see! The overall height of the engine clears the hood with ease and the firewall is untouched.
The interior of this beauty is huge and has seating (and seatbelts) for six adults (thus the "3+3" nomenclature). All seatbelts are brand-new. The all-new interior trim frames a flawless headliner.
The front-end of the truck was completely rebuilt in 2021 featuring new old-stock upper and lower control arms. Front and rear shocks as well as brake pads were replaced the same year. A new Premium A/C compressor was also added and blows very cold. Four new tires + new spare installed in the same year with 90% of tread remaining today.
Both batteries, battery cables and the brake master cylinder replaced in 2022. Left fuel tank, sending unit and hardware also replaced in 2022.
Fuel pump replaced in 2024. New heater motor, resistors, and temperature control assembly were the same year.
The following improvements were made in 2025:
Sound-deadening insulation installed on floor. New quality carpet from LMC Truck. New seat covers front and rear. New lower door panel carpets, new door sill plates. All new door weather stripping.
New dash pad, new brushed aluminum dash molding, new "Silverado" emblem, new dash bezel, new gauges, new gauge lenses, new chrome air vent outlets, new A/C -Heater temperature control assembly. New speedometer. New dome lights. New dome light door switches. New cigarette lighter and receptacle located inside foldout ashtray cover.
New period-correct Retro Sound Long Beach stereo radio installed with new quad four amplifier, new Kenwood nine-inch rear and new six-inch front speakers (installed in new custom molded kick plates). Stereo features AM/FM radio, 2 x USB rear-mounted auxiliary inputs, 1 x 3.5 mm RCA rear-mounted auxiliary input, Bluetooth streaming technology, 30 AM/FM pre-sets, 20,000 color choice background lighting. Stereo is Sirius-XM connection ready.
One after-market USB charging port incorporating 2 quick-charge 3.0 amp. USB sockets, 1 PD 3.0 amp. USB-C socket, switch and LED voltage readout. One USB A/V + RCA 3.5 mm auxiliary A/V plug input port. Both ports have been installed on dash next to ashtray. The second USB A/V port is conveniently hidden and mounted in the glove compartment.
Special feature: Four external front and rear speakers (with switches) installed for added fun during old car cruises! She Rocks!
New Premium quality, "Chevrolet" branded, heavy-duty tailgate with all-new hardware installed in 2025. New premium "stock" rear bumper with completely new hardware and brackets installed in 2025. New chrome license plate bracket with new LED light socket, bulb and lens.
Completely new tail-light / blinker / flasher electrical harness with towing pigtail recently installed. Completely new tail-light assemblies, sockets, bulbs, and reflectors. New side markers with new sockets, bulbs and reflectors. New headlight bulbs and switch + new floor-mounted brights switch.
New windshield wiper arms and blades. New windshield washer switch, fluid jar, pump and all associated hoses and tubes.
All door lock, ignition and glove compartment lock tumblers have been replaced with a special tumbler set. One GM vintage-style square key services the ignition, glove compartment, and door locks; no separate rounded key needed for locks/entry. Spare keys included.
New tinted rear window and rubber. All new wheel-arch molding. New foot-petal rubber pads. New hood release handle. All new fuses and relays. New rearview mirror. New "nostalgic" old-style GM-branded, liquid-filled windshield compass (Baby Boomer GPS).
Always excellently maintained and garage parked. Oil (12-quart cap.) and filter replaced (with full-synthetic) every 3,000 miles.
I have all the speedometers/odometers (3) that have belonged to this truck. The first speedometer had 120,000 when it was removed. The second speedometer was installed when the engine was swapped around the year 2000. The second speedometer/odometer had 42,000 miles when removed in 2025. The third and current speedometer/odometer shows just under 2,000 miles. Therefore, the body of the truck has about 164,000 miles on it. The current re-built engine has only 44,000 miles since installed.
Truck body is entirely original (with exception of tailgate). Original paint. No accidents/damage, no Bondo or fillers, absolutely no rust!
Always starts, even in cold weather. Towing ready, ball included. Excellent "gas" mileage. Suspension and shifting smooth, drives like a dream!
Own a piece of history! You'll never find another club cab from this era in such great condition (if you can even find one!).
NOTE: New interior front door panels, with all new accessories, have been ordered and will be replaced before sale!
