This 1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo is a one-owner survivor in fair condition, It needs work, powered by its original L48 350cid V8 and Turbo 350 automatic transmission. It was driven daily until August 2023, when the original owner became ill. Since then, it has been stored under a custom car cover. The only modification is a cassette player installed in place of the original 8-track. I do not have the original 8 track player, but I am searching for it. The car only has 107,292 miles. All original miles.
It is a true one-owner car with an original L48 350cid V8, Turbo 350 automatic transmission, original manuals, and maintenance records—features that significantly increase collectability and long-term value.
While this car needs interior upholstery work, ragtop repair, rust repair, paint work and minor mechanical attention, it remains running, complete, highly original, and unmodified, which makes it an excellent restoration candidate.
One-owner Monte Carlos with original drivetrains are increasingly hard to find.Considering its well-documented history and originality, the asking price reflects current market trends while leaving room for the next owner to restore and increase the vehicle’s value.
