An extremely original Charcoal Metallic 1989 Corvette convertible, with 6-Speed Manual 5.7 Liter V8 engine. Super clean, low-mileage, Corvette convertible in impressive original condition! The VIN of the car is 1G1YY3185K5126189. The engine, transmission and all other major components are all original as delivered from factory. Gorgeous color combination. A prior NCRS Top Flight car! The engine valve covers and original window sticker has been signed by corvette chief engineer Dave McLellan. The body is clean and straight and in truly excellent condition. It is showing approximately 42,000 miles on the odometer and it has been maintained well and driven sparingly.

The original Charcoal Metallic paint looks very good. The car color looks like bronze metallic, however it has the original color code charcoal metallic. While some of the plastic pieces have a slight color difference (as is common on cars of this era). The interior is in great condition as well. While there is some mild creasing in the leather from use, reflecting on the age of the vehicle.

The engine starts up easily and runs very good. The suspension is tight, feels good. Everything is smooth and responsive. The car is equipped as delivered new. All original documentation is included, including the original order sheet, window sticker, owners manual.

There is a small area of damage underneath left side where this car was once jacked up improperly (see image)

I believe I am the 3rd owner of this corvette. The car is registered in Texas and located in Austin Texas. It is garage kept and has been taken on short runs periodically to keep all mechanicals in good order. The miles are all actual and original. The paint is all original.
