Vehicle Details

This truck was acquired and built while I lived in Arizona and has lived the majority of its life in a perfect car climate. I have since relocated to Iowa to start a family and need to liquidate some toys.

This truck was subjected to a full bed off body clean up, any and all rust was repaired, removed, and patched by a professional body shop before the truck received a fresh coat of Nardo Gray paint with a blue pearl mixed into the clear coat to give it a one of a kind finish. This occurred in late 2024. At this same time, the body professional shaved and welded the factory fuel door, the bow tie hood emblem location, and the factory radio antenna location to clean up the exterior even more. He also installed new black side mirrors, as well as coated the inside of the bed with fresh bed liner. A new grille was acquired and painted to match.

Performance wise this thing is one of a kind and incredible in my opinion, please review the attached YouTube links for running videos and a full walk around so you can hear how incredible this truck sounds.

The drivetrain was sourced from a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. A 6.6L LBZ Duramax Turbodiesel motor, which received new head gaskets and ARP headstuds upon being installed, was used. Along with the matching 6 speed Allison automatic transmission. This is finished off with a Dana Super 70 locked rear end. The truck is tuned using Duramax swaps.com software that incorporates a five stage tune adjustable via a knob on the dashboard. The truck is OBD-2 and has a port mounted under the dash for diagnostics. In 2024 I installed a new Redhead heavy duty steering gear box.

The truck is an eight lug conversion and has four wheel disc brakes installed. 20” Detroit Steel wheels (D-town smoothies) have been added and are wrapped in new Firestone Firehawk tires. The truck has a dual battery setup located under the bed and a gorgeous fuel cell mounted under the rear which gets plenty of attention on the road.

The interior received a black leather bench seat with a fold down center arm rest and cup holders. The steering column is out of another 2006 Silverado and shows a little bit over 300k miles, however this is not the mileage of the body or the drivetrain. True mileage on the truck or motor are unknown but during my ownership I have added less than 5000 miles. The truck is reliable and I often daily drove it during the summer months.

WHAT IT NEEDS;

Honestly the truck doesn’t NEED anything to be enjoyed as it sits. However if I were keeping the truck I would probably do the following, add an air dog fuel system for better performance especially if running biodiesel this build prefers traditional diesel (if you would like me to install the air dog system for you prior to taking delivery this can be arranged), finish off the interior (add AC and a stereo as well as an original steering column).

This is an incredible opportunity to own a beautiful truck that will be greatly missed. Please serious inquiries only. If you have questions reach out.
