Classic 1940 Chevy Special Deluxe Business Coupe – The Ultimate Hot Rod or Restoration Project

Up for sale is a rare 1940 Chevrolet Special Deluxe Business Coupe. This is the highly desirable short-cabin coupe model, known for its long trunk and sleek silhouette.

The Essentials:

• Paperwork: I have the CLEAN TITLE in hand. This is getting harder to find and makes registration easy.

• Body: Original steel body with a fantastic natural patina. It has some rust as expected for its age, but it’s a very solid foundation for a "Rat Rod" build or a full frame-off restoration.

• Drivetrain: Currently has a modern V8 engine swapped in (likely a Chevy Small Block). It is NOT currently running. It appears to be an older street-rod project that was started and preserved.
