***1972 CAMARO BUILT BIG BLOCK 396 TURBO 400 9-INCH REAR BRIGHT RED BLACK STRIPES*** This is a 1972 Chevrolet Camaro that the owner asked me to list. This Camaro is bright red with black stripes. It has Weld Wheels. Interior is black with bucket seats and a console. The engine is a late 60s 396 that was built by Wally Duncan; he was a well known engine builder in the area before he passed away. The engine has a single plane intake, Holley double pumper, headers, and performance cam. It fires right up and runs very strong. Engine is backed by a rebuilt Turbo 400 with shift kit. The rear is a Ford 9-inch with 3:50 gears and a locker. The car runs and drives great. It is a sharp car with straight solid body - a very nice body. Email any questions and you may ask for the owner's number to set up a time to see the Camaro. The bright red paint is set off by nice chrome bumpers - this car has a split bumper Car has a solid body Weld Wheels are by Cragar Car has a nice rake with the rear raised a little Front tires are P205X75X15 while rears are P275X60X15 Stripes are painted on under the clear coat - note steel cowl induction hood It has dual exhaust that exits in the stock locations Interior is black with bucket seats and console High back seats are in nice shape It has the stirrup shifter and the indicator on the dash works with it Speedometer and gauges work In-dash tachometer works Dash pad has no damage and looks very good Console and shifter for the Turbo 400 It has aftermarket oil pressure and temperature gauges that work - car does not have a radio Back seat Headliner - dome light comes on when you open either door Passenger door panel Driver door panel The engine is a late 60s 396 big block that was completely rebuilt a few years ago. It cranks right up and sounds awesome. Engine has fabricated aluminum valve covers, long tube headers Engine runs great - has performance Mallory Unilite ignition and thick plug wires Power master cylinder for the front discs and rear drum brakes. Previous owner installed the line lock. Headers and power steering Radiator has a shroud Chrome alternator Dual feed double pumper Holley four barrel carburetor sits on a Holley single plane intake Underside of steel cowl induction hood Trunk lid needs to be held open due to weight of the rear spoiler Underside of the trunk lid is painted body color Trunk panel is solid Driver side of the trunk Passenger side of the trunk VIN on dash 1Q87H2N114856 - it was a small block car originally Clear title - VIN matches VIN on dash Cowl data plate is very hard to read. I think it says 775 trim which is a black interior and the paint code looks like 75 which would be red. Grill is black and the car has the split bumpers Long hood with cowl induction style scoop Driver front fender - wheels are 15-inch All glass is good Doors open and shut properly Driver side rear quarter panel Deck lid with stripes Chrome bumper and taillights Passenger rear quarter panel Bright red body is in great condition Straight body If you are seriously interested in this car my advice is to come and see it.
