Well this is a project but a nice one. For the 72 Chevy pickup lovers. I really like them too. The truck has been sitting for a long time, don't know but I think it was parked when it quit running and just sat since then.The truck is really complete, missing the rear bumper, the longbox is not from this truck but is in very nice condition with even a different tailgate, but the truck looks really good.
I pulled it in the shop and brought it back to life, rebuilt the fuel system, ignition system and still would not start, the timing chain was bad, so they parked it when it quit running. replaced chain and gears, tuned up nicely and fixed exhaust noise. replaced front brake pads and calipers to get it to stop and go. Tires are all descent condition and willstay up. the truck will drive and stop runs pretty good..
The rust is in the front of the rhs fender and both rockers are rusted thru, check the pictures. Otherwise nic project if you really like these trucks.. Also this is the original 350, rochester 4 barrell carb and the whatever came with it. Auto trans seems to shift fine.
This vehicle will run and drive on to a trailer, I do not recommend driveing it home.. Title is clear in my name. Good LUCK.
