1964 Chevrolet Impala SS Convertible Project Car!!

1964 Chevrolet Impala Additional Info:

1964 Impala SS Convertible, non-running project car. This car was just discovered this week stored away in a garage since 1983. This one owner time capsule will need extensive and complete restoration, but it is very complete with many of the hard to find parts present and accounted for. This is a true body code 1467 V8, SS Convertible, not a clone or something made to resemble the real thing. Painted in its correct color code 922, Ember Red with its correct and original code 815-2 Black Bucket seat SS interior with center console and floor shifted automatic transmission with the "2" code black convertible top still in place. While we mentioned it will need an extensive restoration, this car checks all the hard to find boxes for an X-frame convertible rebuilder! Engine is a 283 and turns free with the new starter and we expect it should be able to run with very little work. The transmission is a 2 speed Powerglide auto, but all that can change depending on the direction you go with the restoration. We even have a shop we work with that can restore it just how you want it, just let us know if you want to go that direction!! I am listing this here with a reasonable reserve, but knowing what these cars can bring, I am not giving it away. We can work with you, but understand what you are looking at and bidding on before you commit to bid. This is a LARGE project, but if done right, could be a 6 figure car all day long!!
