1978 Chevrolet Suburban Scottsdale 10 Additional Info:

I’ve decided to sell my incredibly original 1978 Suburban Scottsdale 10. This truck only had two owners before me and is a true survivor in every sense. Body is in incredible condition. It has original paint (Can show you paint meter readings if you like), absolutely zero body or frame rust including none in all the square body issue areas, original big block 454 that runs very well, all original interior..etc. I recently put just over $6,000 into the truck to make it run and drive like a dream. Recent work included new tires, powder coating the original wheels, new fuel lines, new fuel pump, carburetor rebuild, new fly wheel and balance weight, brake work, new battery and lot more. I have the receipts to show what has been done. As I mentioned the truck is a Scottsdale 10 but somewhere along the way someone threw Silverado badges on it. It does have the factory optioned Trailering package. Just like the exterior, the interior is in very good shape for its age. I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere and as far as you like. There are a couple of non mechanical related issues the next person will probably want to address. The AC system blows but does not blow cold. I would think converting the AC to a newer refrigerant would be best. The radio also does not turn on. To my knowledge though, all else works. I have quite a few service records showing how meticulously it was maintained. The truck itself shows that though. Let me know if you have any questions at all!
