Up for auction is a 1991 Chevy S10 4.3L 2WD, maroon exterior, maroon interior. It was my daily and my pride & joy. Unfortunately I have too many projects, and recently I have been having a misfire wit low oil pressure (no engine knock) and no codes on the OBD 1 system. I replaced almost all sensors and still no help. Then while driving it, the transmission front pump seal or torque converter went out and was pouring transmission fluid. I saved the transmission by having it towed. So I would say this is a mechanic special, the truck is complete and all there. The other cons is rust holes on the driver floor pan and extended cab, those areas have a metal plate, to do it the correct way, they need to be cut out and put new floor pans. Like I said it's really nice but needs alot of work. If fixed these trucks are increasing in value at time goes on. So bring a trailer, and I can put transmission fluid to load it on the trailer. If purchased I accept cash, or money order, and can sign clean blue title (besure to check your title transfer on your state-each state is different).

I set the timing to 2° advance, it has roller tip rockers 3/8 1.6, stage 2 Jet performance chip, Fram washable Air Hog, hollowed out cat, new serpentine belt, has electric fan on Ac compressor demand, transmission cooler with gauge, 110 mph cluster swap-it all works, 3rd brake light (flashing), All power windows and locks work, cruise control works, map lights work, Ac compressor/accumalator/orfice filter Pag oil-replaced-blows cold but has a slow leak, 2024 Battery, Transmission has a sonnex sunshell and corvette servo with new speed sensor, amp wiring in the truck for a boom box...

Listing is the Cons: Motor has a slight backfire through the intake (maybe misfire)-timing is 2°, low oil pressure-no sludge in the engine-regular oil changes (synthetic)-doesn't burn oil or no blow by, Ac has a slow leak, maybe the front compressor, Transmission has a major leak at either the torque converter or front pump seal, will need the 8647058 Waved Forward Clutch Plate for smoother reverse to forward gear. Driver floor pan needs to be replaced or patch, same with extended cab floor pan-replaced or patched, and of course needs paint-on the cab has rust bubbles-used bondo but rust comes back...

Like I said this a project, a mechanic special, but when fixed it runs great, and these trucks were well built. So bring a trailer....Thanks for looking and happy bidding
