Rare 1956 Cameo Carrier Pickup truck. One only 1452 Cameos produced in 1956. A clean Texas truck. You don't see many 1956 Cameos and especially this nice. Has a GM 350 cubic inch crate motor that runs great. Headers and fine exhaust system that sounds great. Front straight axle with disc brakes, power steering and brakes. Beautiful red paint with optional 1957 Cameo bed trim. Great looking wood with stainless strips in cargo bed. 3 speed manual transmission with Hurst floor mounted shifter. New replacement AM/FM radio. Has new heater control unit with cables but no heater core is installed. All chrome is great with exception of the 3100 fender emblems that are original. P235-15 wide white wall tires with original factory full hubcaps. Truck runs and drives great for its year. The 1956 Cameo is one of the rarest and most collectable Chevrolet pickups ever built. A great investment with appreciation like gold in the bank. I love this truck but at 80 years old I need to downsize my collection. It would only take a little tlc to make it show quality.
