1970 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:
I am selling my numbers matching 1970 corvette stingray which is cloned as anLT-1. I purchased this car a couple years ago from a good friend. He had it stored in a trailer for the past seven years. It had never came out of the trailer. At one time the car had been painted black for the exterior and the interior was changed to silver. When I bought the car, I drove it for a little while the first summer. Then I decided to redo the car and take it back to original. I tried to keep as many parts that were good. I did upgrade to leather seats. The car was stripped down by hand to the original primer and repainted to Marlboro maroon. That is the original color of the car. The tachometer needs a new gear in the distributor and it is not the original engine. I have had the car looked at by several Corvette experts and they agreed that it is a true LT-1. The car is number is 850 off the assembly-line. The car runs and drives great. It has a M21 munci 4 speed transmission. The car hasall new shocks, brakes and bushings just about a complete restoration. I have lots of pictures of the car if you would like to see more please just send me a message. All the parts that I ordered came from Corvette America. The interior is all new. I have a whole folder of documents on the car. The car has T tops and a removable rear window also.
Ipurchased all of the interior from Corvette America. I have all the receipts totaling over $9000. I also have the receipts for parts and materials totaling over $4000. I know I have also spent a couple thousand that I don't have receipts for. This is not including the year and a half that it took to restore it (my labor).
The motor has been rebuilt and has had a 400 crank put in it inmaking it 383. I have all the numbers that I can find that are on the block and the number on head under valve cover. head 333882 H 11 o block stamp pad V1029CTL 400850 back drivers side 3951509 passenger rear firs number or letter is hard to make out it is eather an 8 or aB the other numbers are 207 and I believe ondrivers side on side of block 508 there is a 2 under fuel pump. SorryI'm still learning,I hope that this new information is correct. Either way its still a really nice car.

I have a mistake in the details. I forgot to omit the line that reads it is a true LT1. It is not a true LT1 it is a clone I found out but it is a numbers matching car.
