1986 CUCV M1009 Chevrolet Blazer, an Army issued vehicle that has been meticulously restored. This model features a powerful and reliable 6.2L V8 Detroit Diesel engine paired with an automatic 3 speed transmission. New interior, dash, door panels, led gauges, fully restored working Blackout Lighting system, bluetooth stereo added, new flooring, complete undercoating, 2 1/2" suspension lift, BFG All Terrains, dual range transfer case and front locking hubs, all new electrical wiring and a true 24 volt system. The photographer took some liberties he shouldn't have editing the photos causing the green to seem a bit glossy and a brighter green than the original GM green the Army required. The original order sheet is still attached in the glove box. These were originally camo paint but I liked just the green from the camo and used black on the accessories. The engine was overhauled and runs perfect, gas mileage is exceptional and will climb a wall. These were also 3/4 ton vehicles so towing is no issue for these trucks. This project started as a shell so basically new everything. I believe this to be the finest restoration of an M1009 that exists today. Holler with questions.
