1971 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Additional Info:

1971 Chevrolet K10 original SWB truck. One of 1438 produced in 1971. First year for front disc brakes. This truck was originally a Colorado Springs truck and was assembled in the Fremont California plant. 350 motor. NP 205 transfer case. SM 465 4 speed transmission. Dana 44 front differential with corporate 12 bolt rear diff. 3.73 gear ratio. Paint code 514 light red with one repaint although interior has original paint including door jambs. Rear posi traction axle. Factory tinted glass. Factory air conditioning that is missing the compressor. Previous owner had acquired gm a/c components that I will include with the truck. Front grill, bezel and bumper have been updated. Motor has been rebuilt at some point and runs very well. Has an electronic fuel pump and edelbrock carb. Interior has been completely redone and includes professionally restored original truck bucket seats and console. A newer model steering column provides excellent cab room for comfort and steers exceptionally well. Power brakes and steering factory. New 4 inch suspension lift with new 35x12.50 BFGoodrich KM3 tires. New walker evens 16x8 wheels. Has some rust in both cab corners and back of drivers side rocker. A few areas of surface rust in the paint are shown in photos but metal is solid. The rear drivers side cab support has some rust but is solid, the rest of the truck is rust free. Front window is cracked. Has a new battery. We drive this truck regularly and it runs and drives very well. Please feel free to ask any questions.
