Purpose and Scope of Report
Purpose
The purpose of this document is to report to the customer the inspector’s opinion of the
overall physical condition of the inspected vehicle as well as provide an accurate list of
options and equipment featured on it.
Diminished Value
The diminished value of the vehicle is described as the estimated total amount of
money that an automobile is estimated to have depreciated in value, ue to a particular
accident, ishap, vent or circumstance.
Fair Market Value
The Fair Market Value of the vehicle is the highest price on the date of the evaluation
that would be agreed to by a seller, eing willing to sell. And a buyer, eing w
willing to
buy, nd under no particular necessity for so doing, ach dealing with others full
knowledge of all the uses and purposes for which the property is reasonable, daptable
and available.
Replacement Value
The replacement value of a vehicle is defined as the actual total cost of exactly
duplicating the vehicle if it were subject to a total loss. In the case of a customized or
modified vehicle this must also include the cost of obtaining an identical type of “donor”
or “base” vehicle, he cost of obtaining all of the additional aftermarket and specialty
components along with all labor costs incurred to replicate the loss vehicle.
Fair Market Value Prior to Loss
The Fair Market Value of the vehicle prior to loss is the highest price on that prior noted
dated of valuation that would have been agreed to by a seller, eing willing to sell, nd a
buyer, eing willing to buy, nd under no particular necessity for so doing, ach dealing
with others full knowledge of all the uses and purposes for which the property is
reasonable, daptable and available immediately prior to the known loss date of that
vehicle.
Method of Valuation
The value is estimated by current market data comparison, upplemented by cost
information. The vehicle is compared when possible, ith others for sale and that have
sold in the general time period. Adjustments are made for differences in equipment,
mileage, osmetics, onversions, riginality, ondition as well as sale terms and current
economic conditions at time of sale.

authenticity.

to specific manufactures records, og books, iles, omputer data bases, r other nonpublished
information.

Inspection and Appraisal Purpose
The purpose of this appraisal is to determine the Fair Market Value and the authenticity
of the vehicle noted in its current condition at time of inspection. The following
components have been visually inspected and photographed.
The Vehicle’s Details and Equipment
The following driveline component castings and stampings have been inspected and
photographed. Every component is correct by type, art number, nd production /
assembly date with the exception of the rear end. The engine VIN stampings are in my
opinion original from the manufacture.

This decodes as a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe 427 L71 that was scheduled to
complete production on February 17, 967. The car was finished in Goodwood Green
(983). The interior is finished in Green Vinyl Bucket Seats (430). The engine block was
cast on September 26, 966 assembled on February 01,1967 as a L71 427 rated at 435
HP and is the original unit to the car. The transmission was assembled on February 02,
1967 as a close ratio M21 and is the original to the car. The rear axle was assembled
on October 29, 965 and NOT the original unit to the car. The car ordered with a 4.11
ratio when new. The intake manifold is original to the car. The carburetors are correct by
type and date to the car. The alternator is correct by type and date to the car. This is the
original engine and transmission to the car. All supporting components such as intake,
exhaust manifolds are correct to the car with the exception of the rear axle.

Vehicle Condition
Overall Condition
This is an unrestored 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe 427 L71. This car was until the
last year a one-owner car from new. The car has a great set of documentation including
the tank sticker, till in place. The car has original Ohio title showing years of renewals
in the original owners name up to 2014. The Protecto Plate is the original in the owners
name. The mileage indicated is claimed to be original by the original owner has signed
accordingly. The car is in very original condition, ll body panels are original. About
90% of the paint is original to the car. The right front corner was lightly damaged, aint
only, y the original selling dealer when the car was about a year old. That area
was resprayed,
and can now be seen at inspection as it has aged different from the original.
The paint has a wonderful patina, nd has expected light flaws, hecking and cracking.
The lower rear valance has some light damage that was never repaired. The interior is
all original. The seating surfaces are original. The carpets are original, ash is original,
all gauges are original. The door panels are original, ith a few flaws. All of the glass is
original. The window trim is all original. The trim tag is original, s well as VIN tag, nd
have not been removed from the car.
The under carriage has not been touched and is original to fault, ut original. The frame
has surface corrosion only, o rot. The floors are excellent. The orange spindles can be
seen under the grease. Everything is complete and appears to be original with
exception of a few maintenance items over the years.
This is a great example of a very original L71 equipped Corvette Coupe, hat has great
ownership history, reat documentation, nd hasn’t been restored, r manipulated. The
car makes for a very rare find of the one of the most significant Corvette’s ever made.
This car has been placed judged for Bloomington Gold Survivor status in 2015. The car
was awarded Silver Survivor, issing Gold by only one point due to the fact the motor
has been out of the car for prior repair. During this process, he motor was verified by Al
Grenning. The award and judging sheets are included in this report.
