Believed to be original 1955 Chevy 3100 Cameo truck. 265 V8 with 3spd trans with overdrive lever.Purchased from the second owner who had bought this truck in 1978.Truck is complete and unmolested honest truck.Will make a great resto mod or original restoration vehicleNew grill in the box not pictured here.has all 4 hubcaps in really nice shape.Truck stars and drives after having sat for almost 17 years.All glass in good shape (70 years old)Windows go up and down as they should.Vent windows open and latch.Seat is worn with a tear. (new seat cover available at about $500.00)Tail gate opens and closes very well.Truck came with the wood for the bed although it was sitting out and became weathered.I sanded it 2 coats Red Mahogony stain and 3 coats poly clear. Installed it so there would be a bed in the truckThe following has been done by me to make the truck drivable:Oil and filter changerear wheel cylinders and rear brake shoes replaced.New aluminum 3 core radiator installed. (have original that come with the truck)New batteryNew Edelbrock 650 cfm carb installed. More cfm than needed but runs great.New 215/75 15 tires installed just to be able to drive. Really should have wide white wall but a lot of $The truly cool thing is that everything you may wish to change or replace is available for thisvery rare truck.Only 5200 approx. made in 1955 and around a total of 10,000 for the entire production run.
