1956 Chevrolet Other Pickups Additional Info:

Original owner from new.4 speed stick shift with 2 speed axle.350 Engine upgrade. New glass, wiring, lights, paint.Truck is in very good condition except that a master cylinder/brake booster upgrade was done which does not work. Likely too small for a 2 1/2 ton truck. Original master cylinder and Hydro/boost unit are included. They should be rebuilt and reinstalled. Rest of brake system is good.New speedometer, needs to be calibrated when brakes are repaired. Original one is included. Truck has low mileage, less than 100k.This has been a ranch truck in our family all its life. All solid, nothing other than minimal, normal surface rust on drivetrain.Would keep this truck except when it was taken apart for paint everything was taken apart, i.e.: don't know how to hookup Hydro/boost system and have lost interest. That is all that it needs to be completely restored.Very heavy PTO winch on the steel flatbed. Way more than truck needs, with a ram system that is stored in the bed. Can be used to lift anything.If driven on highway will need new tires. Has split rim wheels.On original 1955 title.
