1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo 7.4 SS Additional Info:

This car was hit in the right rear quarter panel back in the mid 80s. The owner at the time bought two new GM front fenders and a new GM right rear quarter panel. He replaced the fenders but still need to be lined up better, he never had the quarter panel installed, but is included with the car. The car was parked in a barn in 1986, which I removed it from last year. I removed the interior and clean it up then reinstalled it just to keep everything together. I installed new points and coil and can crank it up pouring gas in the carburetor. I have a video of it running and the engine sounds good. This car has the numbers matching motor and transmission and is a real super sport. Air compressor for the self leveling is missing, but the height control valve is still mounted above the rear end.

Vehicle Details

I’m going to describe the body as the best I can. The front bumper is bent and I have a good one with good brackets to go with the car. The headlight bezels are good. The hood has one rust hole about the size of a quarter. The front fenders as I said was new GM but will have to be soda blaste. The passenger door is good and has no rust, the drivers door is damaged, but I have a good drivers door to replace it. The right rear quarter panel needs to be replaced, but I have a new GM quarter panel included. The driver side quarter needs replacing and I don’t have that. The roof has a quarter size rust hole on the left front corner. The floor pans and trunk pan are still solid Trunk lid is nice no rust this car came loaded with options, such as tinted windows, power windows, and power door locks, Strato bucket seats, console floor shift, sport vinyl roof, air conditioning, cruise, auto leveling, Posi 12 bolt, duel exhaust,tilt steering, power steering, lamp monitoring, AM/FM eight track player, washer fluid monitor, deluxe seat belts, Map light on rearview mirror, tachometer and gauges, rear defrost, and three spoke sport steering wheel.
