Vehicle Details
I am helping a widowed friend sell some of her late husbands projects. He was a Chevrolet fanatic and a meticulous paint and body man. He tried to always use original or NOS parts when ever possible. Up for sale is a Blue 1962 Bel Air 2 door post coupe project car some assembly required. This car is in fair condition it is a PROJECT CAR it does not run it is the last one out of 7 project cars she had available all the others have been sold. Disassembly was started before her husband passed away. The car is an original 6cyl car but had a 348 C.I. big block with automatic transmission in it when they purchased the car. They intended to install a newly rebuilt 409 with a 4 speed in the car. The car is still set up for the big block. There are new full rear quarters panels, new rocker panels, a front fender and a new full floor pan included as shown in the pictures The rear quarters are new in box. It has power steering, and other included new and used parts. The 348 C.I. engine is no longer there. The interior is in the car and all there but will need some work. The exterior trim glass and chrome are included. You will have to decide on your own engine the 409 engine has been sold a 454 is available at additional $1000.00 cost. $7,000 O.B.O. The frame is in good shape the floor could be patched instead of replacing the whole floor as they intended to do ask any questions again this is a PROJECT CAR she is keeping the ones they finished together.
