Here's your chance to get into a really nice and very original, unmolested, Squarebody 4x4 Chevy, and in a great color too! This is a 1973 Chevy K20 in the sought after, Cheyenne Package, 4 wheel drive, 3/4 ton Montana Farm Truck wearing what seems to be its original Paint, Chevy Hawaiian Blue with the two tone white. I recently had this truck brought down to California and it now has a clean California Title in my name. The Truck is solid, drives straight and is in Good running condition. The Truck's automatic transmission shifts smoothly into all its gears and the 4 wheel drive works well too. The truck has power steering, and is geared some what low and while climb rough rocky trails in 4 wheel drive very well as I have done this with it, and its fun! Its not real fast off the line but if you step on the gas it will get up to 70 mph on the highway without trouble and its drives straight with just one hand on the wheel, and doesnt drift all over the road like many old trucks do. Alot of mechanical work was done on this truck back in 2021 at the local Montana Chevrolet dealership shop, and I have most receipts, this work including the addition of headers, dual exhaust with Flowmasters (truck has great sound, see videos, links below), all shocks were replaced, the brakes system was completely gone through all drums replaced, front brake pads and brake lines replaced, all wheel and axle seals replaced, all bearings and wheel cylinders replaced and lubed, power steering pump and lines all replaced, axle joints replaced, rear dif drained and filled, replaced all plugs, and replaced the starter and all related wiring. New valve covers, new airfilter, and 4 brl carb rebuilt. The truck has dual fuel tanks that were cleaned and rewired and both tanks are working and can be switched between from the dash. The truck has a period correct radio in it, that is not working but probably could, and amazingly nobody ever cut the doors to put in speakers, which is very very rare indeed! And I just replaced the drivers door weather striping too, so it closes nicely and solid and is quiet going down the road. The Truck also got new BF Goodrich KO2 tires in 2021 that have tons of tread on them still. You can imagine what all this work cost to do.. it was ALOT, and I have the most of the receipts, so basically all the heavy lifting on this truck has already been done. And you get a truck that is ready to enjoy as is or take to the next level. This truck spent nearly its entire life on a farm in western Montana, and I was told it spent winters mostly inside a barn building. So while it does have some rust in the usual places, it is nothing too crazy and far less than most of these trucks that you can find. Its got some rust spots on the exterior of the rear fenders, but the wheel wells are all solid. There is one small spot in the passenger side floor front corner and and one on the drivers side that has been repaired, see pictures. The frame and the rest of the truc, including the roof are rust free and solid. The bed of the truck is absolutely beautiful and nearly immaculate, as the original owner had a camper shell top on the truck for many many years. Message me and i can send you more pics of anything you want to see. Frankly without these few rust spots this truck would be too expensive for most people to afford, including me lol! But as it is it is a solid candiate for a restoration which would take this truck's value into the crazy money realm. Or it is just fine as it, to drive and enjoy for many years to come. Take it camping, fishing and hunting, take to the beach, take it to vintage cars and coffee meet up, or let your son take it to Prom! Its a show stopper and thumbs up getter just as it is, everywhere you go, and my reserve price, while not cheap, is also not in the crazy money zone, so like I said this is a chance to get into one of these classic and unmolested squarebody trucks that are so Hot right now, at a price that will probably seem real cheap in the years to come. As I said the paint seems to be original or maybe it was paint once perhaps but if it was it was done in the original Hawaiian Blue color as it matches the inside of the cab and engine bay perfectly. This Hawaiian Blue color is absolutely gorgous and it really shines in the sun. I have not even tried to buff it out or do anything beyond hosing it down, but im sure if you wanted to you could get this truck lookin really clean and shiny. Put some Poppy's Patina wash on it and call it a day! I definitely would never paint it, its perfect as is! I thought about keeping this one, but I have decided to let it go for the right price to fund other projects and builds that I am working on. I will try to answer all question and assist any buyer for a quick and easy pick up of the Truck at its present location in Joshua Tree, CA. As mentioned the truck has a new clean California Title in my name and is smog exempt in CA. Check out the video links below, especially the last one.. This is a good and fun Truck!
