1955 Bel Air 2-Door Sedan blue/white 396 big block (402) Muncie 4-speed. This car sat in an Austin, Texas junkyard for many years - and it looks like it. It is full of bullet holes, dents, rust, broken glass. The quarters were cut in the 1970's not to be a race car but rather to be a field car with dual rear wheels. It was always a 6-cylinder 3-speed car until it became mine. It was rescued to be used as a parts car but I felt sorry for it and fellin love with it (I'm prone to doing that) and built it.All 4 floor pans have been replaced/welded in. Trunk floor and spare tire well has been replaced/welded in. There is still rust and holes but large holes are all fixed.Control arm front suspension with new bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends. Rebuilt steering box.Original frame is very solid no rot.Recently rebuilt 1971 Chevelle SS 396(402) CI big block with oval port steel heads. Comp Cams Mutha Thumper hydraulic camshaft, stock valve train. Vintage chrome plated tunnel ram with new Holley 750 Endurashine carburetors. Tunnel ram is plumbed for nitrous but not currently functional. Vintage chrome air scoops. New radiator. Runs cool even on hot days. Excellent oil pressure.New Patriot fenderwell headers, no exhaust. Loud.1969 Camaro stamped M20 4-speed transmission with Hurst Competition Plus shifter. New Summit clutch and pressure plate.New driveshaft and u-joints. Emergency brake works.1960 Pontiac 9.3" rear axle with new Fabcraft positraction unit, new bearings, new 4.88:1 rear gear. Stock rear leaf springs with lowering blocks.Vintage Cragar wheels 15x10" rear 15x4" front. New 29" tall 10" wide street legal slicks rear. New Firestone Deluxe Champion 7.75 - 15 bias ply from Coker.Drum brakes single master cylinder.Vintage black vinyl roll and pleat interior. Tufted door panels. Interior has blemishes, rips, tears. Has headliner and survivors. Vintage blue flake steering wheel. This car IS NOT in any way nice, refined or slick. It is NOT suitable for long road trips. It is a fairgrounds cruiser, local show car, or the kind of car to trailer to out of town events. Lower your expectations on it please!Don't purchase this car with plans to restore it. There are much better cars out there for that. Do purchase this car to have the coolest, baddes, loudest, most obnoxious period-correct gasser-style street car anywhere.Pick up in Bostic, NC USA.
