Have you ever sat down and wondered what something would be like, from your past, if you had a chance to do it all again?

That’s what we had in mind when we started building this high-end, ground up restoration of an American icon.

What would Chevrolet do if they built a Retro 1970 K 10 today over 50 years later. If you ask me, it would be something very close to what we have here.

This factory born, short box 4x4 K-10 short box was lovingly, built by JD Lusardi at Street Rod Factory in Mountain Home, Idaho. JD has a long Pedegree of amazing builds, including involvement in Riddler award winning cars.

No Stone was left unturned in this frame of restoration. It now sports a strongly built LS power plant and rebuilt 4L 60e automatic transmission. As you would expect it has vintage air, and most every other creature comfort. We made sure to pay homage to the original accoutrements wherever we could such as roll up windows, and we even left the headlight dimmer switch on the floor.

Everything underneath has been powder coated and polished wherever possible. It’s a jewelry box event just to lay on your back and enjoy the view. The truck has a Rough Country 4 inch lift on all four corners.

The wheels are 18 inch Detroit Steel smoothies that have been retrofitted to accept the factory dog dish hubcaps. And what retro truck would be complete without a brand new set of BF Goodrich, raised white letter, radials T/A’s

Everything on the interior is new, and the radio, though it looks original, is a full featured, Bluetooth enabled, sound system. It has a completely new Dakota Digital stock appearing Gauge pack that has two LED displays that show everything you will need to know about the computer controlled LS power plant.

This Showpiece shines like liquid glass with 5 coats of clear coat over the Chevrolet victory red base coat that has been color sanded and polished to perfection. The bed is completely new including the floor to insure no filler or rust. Every piece of chrome is new and in perfect condition. Panels and gaps are near perfect and immensely improved from the factory fit and finish.

So there you go, this is in deed what bow tie engineers would do if they reimagined a 1970 Chevy K-10 shortbox today. This build took well over a year of painstaking effort and investment. You would be hard pressed to find its equal anywhere else on planet earth!

Don’t miss this chance to own a time capsule grade investment opportunity that will do nothing but increase in value.
