1953 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:

Being offered for the first time to the public for sale is 1953 Corvette #131. The car was originally sold in the Detroit, MI area and is believed to be a 4 owner car, with owner history back to the early 70s.
This was a no expense spared, complete body off restoration by Irvin Patrick in Kentucky. The restoration started with a solid no hit (or cut up) body car, with it's original drivetrain and its original frame. The car maintained all of it's original trim parts, interior parts, fasteners, 53 hubcaps, 53 valve cover, metal backed 6V headlights, side curtains (restored by Steve Newsome), and trunk tools. Missing components were replaced with original GM parts that were refinished, with the only reproduction parts being the electrical wiring, fuel lines, brake lines, and soft parts. Originality was important to us during the restoration process, which included polo white lacquer paint, original trunk mat, and an original tar top 6V battery, to compliment its original side curtain storage bag (see pic).
The car was NCRS judged in 2019, receiving a Chapter (99.0) and Regional Top Flight (96.4), with most of the noted items having been corrected since that time.
The restoration is fully documented and photo documented from time of purchase to completion, with all receipts in a 4" binder. The car includes all awards and judging sheets.
An in person Inspection is welcomed and encouraged. Payment is by bank wire transfer or cash in person.
