1968 Camaro Convertible Matching #'s 327 Engine

1968 Chevrolet Camaro Additional Info:

Car still has original points distributor. Has original style 2 barrel intake manifold, but has 4 barrel carb with adapter plate installed. New original style exhaust manifolds. Car is missing left front shaker. Paint is overall nice, but starting to have a few bubbles rear drivers side wheel well and crack in front right fender. Both are hard to see, but there. No major rust apparent under carriage and just light surface rust in trunk. Original interior except carpet has been replaced. Door panels have holes from 6" speakers which were installed. Manual top is in fair condition, but rear window has yellowed. May be original still. Rear shelf fabric is deteriorated, but I have new liner. I have lot's of 68 parts to include. I replaced the lower valance and right lower fender extension with new sheet metal that's still black. My intentions were to replace all of the front end sheet metal. Front end bushings appear to be all original and in need of replacement. Ball joints appear to be replaced. Has a 1974 saginaw 4 speed according to the serial number stamped on the casing. I put a posi rear end unit and the gears appear to be stamped 1968 original and are 3.07. The 12 bolt rear end itself is stamped with a 1968 number system as well and may be original. All trim and chrome appear to be original, except I did replace the fender wheel well chrome with OEM replacements. The windows still have the astro ventilation stamps so they're either original or OEM replacements. I added power steering to this car. Has 4 wheel drum brakes no power assist. Also no power windows.
